Next...Easter and color!!!

Since Easter is coming next weekend I'll be focusing on cupcake designs with Easter themes. I'll post pics in the next few days of my chicks, Easter baskets and Easter bonnets. All very colorful and all delicious! Good night for now!

Sweet 16 cake

Sorry it took so long, I made a few last minute changes to the design. I have decided that this is so far my greatest creation! The cake topper is hand made and I had some much appreciated help from my fiance in coming up with the idea; gotta give credit where credit is due! I made these drop flowers two days ago and attached hot pink ribbon to four columns for a square two-tier Sweet 16 zebra print cake I'm doing for this weekend. I'm so excited to do this cake and I'll post more pics on Friday!  

carrot cake bars

Tonight my sister came over and we made carrot cake bars for her supervisors birthday. I suggested that I use the same idea for her wedding in July and she loved it! So looks like I'll be making these again! They're like little individual carrot cakes and did I forget to mention how much I LOVE carrot cake (the cream cheese frosting doesn't hurt either, lol)

Today I'll be posting some pics of cakes Jess has done and making a carrot cake for cake bars! My sister is coming to help me make them tomorrow and I'm so excited, it's the first time she and I will be baking and decorating together <3

When I started this last night I forgot to mention that I have a partner in crime and she will also be posting comments and pics here too! Her name is Jessica and we've been friends for over 17 years yet neither one of us could have ever imagined the road our friendship would take when we first met. Our dream is to one day open up a bakery and hence the name J&J's Just Desserts (which may change when the time comes but for now that's what we're going with) She is just as talented as I am and we compliment each other in the decorating department because what one of us can't do the other knows how. :o) More pics today!
