My mother has a shop called "The Savvy Chick" and she celebrated her one year anniversary this past weekend. This is the cake and cupcakes I made for her "birthday party"

My sister's bridal shower cake, the whipped cream topping was so heavenly that my soon-to-be step son and I ate it with strawberries the next day!

Boy Scout Blue and Gold banquet cake

I made this for my neighbors' sons Blue and Gold Boy Scout Banquet, I can't take the credit for the design ideas. I got the idea online but it was so cute I had to make my own version! They each make a cake and then they get raffled off to raise money for the troop camping trip :)  It was a hit and I hope it raffled off quickly:)

I have a friend who wants me to do wedding cupcakes for her but she didn't know what she wanted them to look like...she just knew she didn't want plain white frosting. So I used the color of her wedding as inspiration and did a purple swirling frosting, the cupcake is shades of purple as well but the photo doesn't show it, more pics tommorow :0)

So sorry I haven't posted in a few days, actually like an entire week...I got so busy with Easter decorating and cake orders that seem to come in by the dozens that I just haven't had the time or energy to post.

Since Easter is coming next weekend I'll be focusing on cupcake designs with Easter themes. I'll post pics in the next few days of my chicks, Easter baskets and Easter bonnets. All very colorful and all delicious! Good night for now!

Sweet 16 cake

Sorry it took so long, I made a few last minute changes to the design. I have decided that this is so far my greatest creation! The cake topper is hand made and I had some much appreciated help from my fiance in coming up with the idea; gotta give credit where credit is due! Sorry about the background lol not much I could do...

I made these drop flowers two days ago and attached hot pink ribbon to four columns for a square two-tier Sweet 16 zebra print cake I'm doing for this weekend. I'm so excited to do this cake and I'll post more pics on Friday!

Tonight my sister came over and we made carrot cake bars for her supervisors birthday. I suggested that I use the same idea for her wedding in July and she loved it! So looks like I'll be making these again! They're like little individual carrot cakes and did I forget to mention how much I LOVE carrot cake (the cream cheese frosting doesn't hurt either, lol)
